Welcome To WiFi Wealth Insiders
Hey there, Tom here.
Last night, while I slept, someone bought a $17.99 digital product I made months ago.
Then an affiliate payout landed. Then a sponsorship payment.
💸 This kind of online income pops into my inbox everyday. Even when I’m hiking out in South Africa or am away from my laptop for a while.
THIS is what automated income systems do.
They buy back your time, spread your income across more sources, and give you more freedom to live the way you want.
Today, I’m sharing 4 largely-automated systems I use that pay me like clockwork.
This includes different online business ideas and systems you can copy for yourself. AND I’ll explain the underlying engine that can power all of these systems for you to leverage.
Let’s dive in! 😎👇

1. Email Sequences + Affiliate Offers
Everyone says to build an email list so you own your audience.
That's true. But your list is also one of the best automation tools you have.
The secret is email sequences: the series of emails a new subscriber gets automatically after signing up. They let you send each person the right offer at the right moment, without lifting a finger.
Here's how my flow works across my finance blogs and YouTube channels:
A reader lands on one of my pages from Google, social, or YouTube.
A pop-up offers them a free finance guide in exchange for their email.
They opt in and get the guide.
They enter an automated sequence based on their country, with more useful content plus affiliate offers and my own digital products.
Some of my welcome sequences run 20+ emails. That means each new subscriber gets dozens of chances to convert. And because the work is done up front, every new subscriber makes those emails more valuable.
The result is thousands of affiliate and product clicks every month.
I run all of this on Kit. It's my go-to for affiliate-heavy businesses. The pop-up forms make list building easy, and the Creator Network helps you grow faster. I’m now testing out Beehiiv as well and have been loving the process so far; it’s super easy to use and has some great automation tools as well.
The Bottom Line 👉 If you create content or run any kind of online business, start leveraging email.
A customer is never more engaged than when they immediately hit subscribe to your list. Set up automations to engage with them immediately. Segment according to customer behavior, and use data to your advantage.
This works for course sellers, coaches, ecommerce businesses, affiliate marketers, and anyone doing business online.
2. Outsourced YouTube Channels
YouTube is my highest-margin channel, and it isn't close.
My main channel, Tom Blake Finance, has passed the $167,000 mark in just Adsense earnings. With brand sponsors and affiliate income, I believe it’s over $300,000 now.

YouTube is also one of my favorite platforms, even in 2026.
The reach is unmatched. Even brand-new creators get shown on the homepage and in suggested videos. You can also rank in YouTube search and on Google.
I also like YouTube since it pays you in several ways at once:
AdSense revenue from the Partner Program
Traffic to your affiliate offers, digital products, and email list
YouTube Shopping revenue (for some channels)
Brand deals and sponsorships
Now for how I’ve automated a large chunk of this income stream, it’s actually pretty simple.
I outsource scripts, editing, and thumbnails for about $1,000/month between freelancers and an editing agency.
My job? 😅
Sit in front of the camera for about an hour every few days, record, and drop the file into Google Drive. The team does the rest.
This formula works so well that I bought another monetized YouTube channel, and I'll probably buy or build more.
To be clear, I didn't start by outsourcing everything. This was too expensive to do when I was just starting out and YouTube wasn’t making me any money.
Back then, I taught myself basic editing to keep costs down. Today, AI tools can handle a lot of that for you. You don't need expensive gear or filming experience to start either, and even most modern smartphones get the job done.
I've shared the full breakdown in my $250,000+ YouTube framework. This also explains more about how I’ve begun outsourcing my profitable YouTube channels.

3. Automated Investing
Here's a habit every solo business owner needs: take profits while the sun is shining.
For me, that means a portion of my income automatically goes into dividend ETFs, growth ETFs, money market funds, and other investments every month. No debate, no questions asked.
I keep things pretty simple in terms of what I actually invest in. You can also get a list of top stock picks and long-term funds you definitely want in your portfolio from MarketBeat 👇
7 Stocks Built to Hold Forever. See the Full List.
Chasing the next hot stock can be exhausting, and it rarely builds wealth the way investors expect. The strongest long-term portfolios are often anchored by durable, blue-chip businesses designed to withstand recessions, inflation and shifting market leadership.
MarketBeat’s free 7 Stocks to Buy and Hold Forever report identifies companies across technology, retail, consumer staples, healthcare, networking, sporting goods and utilities. Each offers its own mix of stability, income, growth and staying power.
These are not speculative names built around the latest headline. They are established businesses selected for investors who would rather own quality companies for years than constantly chase the market.

This kind of investing might seem boring. But it works, builds long-term wealth, and lowers your risk.
I’ve seen entrepreneurs go all-in on their business idea, only to get disrupted or to run out of cash. They’re left with nothing after all is said and done.
This is why I’m a fan of automated investing and dollar-cost averaging. You’re ensuring your future security by putting money to work for you every single month.
Even small monthly contributions add up thanks to time and compounding. And you can put it all on autopilot through your bank or any modern brokerage.

4. The Content Flywheel
This is where things get powerful: when your content starts working together to snowball.
When I was a freelance writer, every piece I wrote paid me once. It was a pure time-for-money exchange.
Nowadays, every single piece of content I create feeds into the largest content flywheel.
A YouTube video I make serves as the script for a Substack article. That video also points people to my blog. On my blog, they sign up for my email newsletter. From there, they get served automated email sequences with other pieces of content depending on what interests them.
When you create a content flywheel like this, every channel you build makes your other channels stronger.
That's the power of repurposing: one idea, many results. I cover it in more depth in my post on building a value engine if you want to check that out as well 😊
The hardest part of any content business is coming up with ideas people actually care about and search for.
Once you've nailed one, repurpose it everywhere. Each new piece speeds up the whole system instead of starting from zero.
Traffic Is What Powers All Of This
I've been building content sites, newsletters, YouTube channels, and affiliate funnels since 2018.
Here’s the biggest lesson I've learned 👉 Most creators and business owners have a traffic problem, not a monetization problem.
Unless you're great at running profitable paid ads, you need to learn to use algorithms and free traffic to your advantage. (Here are some effective ways to market your one-person business by the way 😉)
If traffic is your bottleneck:
Focus on the 1–2 channels where you're already getting traction.
Ask yourself: How could I 2–3X my output there next month?
You'll be surprised how much more you can do. That question forces you to work smarter, not just harder.
My biggest growth spurts have almost always come from simply doing more of what's already working. This was the case with blogging, then YouTube, and now across my media portfolio in general.
Build the automations, then add fuel (traffic) to the fire.
“Never depend on a single income. Make an investment to create a second source.”
It's a strange time to be a creator.
The internet is flooded with AI slop, and algorithm-driven businesses are more competitive than ever.
But AI tools, repurposing, and automation are also incredibly powerful. If your content stands out from the noise, these are the systems that multiply what your work earns.
It can feel overwhelming at first. I still remember being lost setting up Kit and nervous about outsourcing YouTube 😂
But really, most of it is easier than it sounds. And once you start approaching your business with a systems mindset, you get the hang of things pretty quickly. Basically, think of ways to buy-back your time through outsourcing and automations!
A bit of a different post than normal. But I wanted to share a bit of a behind-the-scenes look at some of the automations I’m using to earn these days.
Let me know if you have any questions! And thank you all as always for your continued readership and support 😊
Catch you in the next one,
