And HELLO from 5,364 meters above sea level!

I just got back online following 12 days and 130KM of trekking in the beautiful country of Nepal.

This was a pretty special trip and trek up to Everest Base Camp (EBC.)

I turned 30 at the start of the trek. And 12 days of walking and being surrounded by nature and new landscapes gave me a lot of time to reflect and plan ahead.

It’s been a while since I’ve been above 5,000M in altitude. And let me tell you, the headaches are NOT fun 😂🫠 Nor is the lack of appetite or getting out of breathe every time you climb a few stairs…

However, I’d say this trek was well worth it.

My mom used to tell me stories of Everest, Edmund Hillary, and Tenzing Norgay when I was a kid. And a small part of me has always wanted to see this part of the world with my own eyes since she helped weave those stories into my brain.

It was a long trip, but one I’ll always remember fondly. I’m also incredibly impressed by both the toughness and kindness of the Nepalese people, the trekking guides, Sherpas, porters, and everyone else living and working in these mountains.

ANYWAYS, I’m back in Kathmandu for a few days. I plan on eating my bodyweight in meat and carbs, sitting by the pool, and gearing up for the next adventure around the corner…

One of the main reasons I started WiFi Wealth is to share my experience with building real online income streams.

BUT I also want to get to know my audience more and to share a bit more about what I’m up to…A bit of a behind-the-scenes look at this digital nomad lifestyle, if you will.

I’ve been fully remote since I quit my day job in 2020. Since then, I’ve lived and worked remotely across dozens of cities on 6 continents.

I don’t think this lifestyle is perfect by any means. But it’s trips like this EBC Trek where I really feel grateful and excited about what’s ahead.

We live in a time where the world is truly our playground.

It’s never been more possible to build online income streams, increase your overall freedom, and to explore new and exciting parts of the world.

SO, I plan on sharing a little bit more about what I’m getting up to these days 😊

From Kathmandu, I’ll be off to India, which is another brand-new country for me. And then it’s back to Cape Town for a time to unpack the suitcase and hunker down for some summertime down there.
